Connor Prielipp, Twins’ top pitching prospect, scheduled for elbow surgery

OAKLAND, Calif. — Connor Prielipp, the top pitching prospect in the Twins’ minor league pipeline, is scheduled to have surgery on the ulnar collateral ligament in his left arm on Monday, the Twins said Friday.It’s unclear whether the surgery, first reported by mlb.com, will be a reconstruction or a repair. That will be determined once the elbow is opened.Prielipp, 22, was a second-round selection in 2022 out of the University of Alabama, where he had ligament reconstruction surgery in 2021. He has been limited to 6⅔ innings between Class A Fort Myers and Cedar Rapids this season and given up six earned runs on eight hits and four walks. LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Syracuse man was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with two minors at a motel in the Village of Lake George.
