Today was warmer than yesterday by 10-plus degrees in some towns, but it wasn’t just the air temperature that was better, the wind chills that were in the teens and 20s yesterday made it to near 40° today. And our warm up doesn’t stop there. We were in the 30s yesterday, 40s today, and we’ll do the 50s tomorrow! Clouds will increase through the day and you’ll notice a southwest breeze at times. That’s all ahead of showers that will arrive tomorrow evening, after sunset. The rain will move out for Saturday and we have a pretty nice weekend in store. It’s not perfect, but it’s decent. We’ll deal with a lot of clouds this weekend and each day features a chance for rain, but it’s not a total washout and you’ll be able to pick and choose some dry hours each day.Saturday’s rain chance is very low. The general trend is the farther north your travel, the higher likelihood you’ll encounter a passing shower. Even there, th...Arrest warrant issued for Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller

The New England Patriots won’t face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football after all.The NFL announced Thursday that the Week 15 matchup between the Patriots and Chiefs has been flexed out of Monday night and will instead be played on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. and broadcast on Fox. In place of the Patriots and Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks will move into the primetime slot on ESPN.The decision marks the first time in history a game has been flexed out of Monday Night Football and served as a blunt acknowledgement of how far the Patriots have fallen.Currently 2-9 on the season, the Patriots are one of the worst teams in the NFL and rank second-to-last in the league with 13.5 points per game. They are expected to be heavy underdogs against the defending Super Bowl champions, who enter the weekend 8-3 and as one of the AFC’s top teams.Recognizing the potential for a blowout, league executives opted to take advantage of the...Philly is the best US city to visit in 2024, according to this travel guide

By STEPHEN GROVES and MARK SHERMAN (Associated Press)WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee voted Thursday to authorize subpoenas for two prominent conservatives who arranged luxury travel and other benefits for Supreme Court justices, but Republicans challenged the legitimacy of the move and pledged to withhold support for enforcing the legal order. The committee chairman, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., pushed through the vote in the meeting’s final moments after Republicans had walked out in protest. The vote from the 11 Democrats would authorize subpoenas for Republican megadonor Harlan Crow and conservative activist Leonard Leo. But without bipartisan backing, the subpoenas probably will not be enforced because that would take 60 votes in the closely divided Senate.During a contentious committee meeting, Republicans tried to delay the vote before Sen. Lindsey Graham, the committee’s top Republican, invoked a rule to limit the session to two hou...Starbucks gives half-off drinks today and adds 4 new holiday cold foams
