ST. LOUIS - Baseball's biggest stars go head-to-head Tuesday evening in the MLB All-Star game, a battle you will only be able to watch on FOX 2 or your local FOX affiliate. The American League All-Stars have won the last nine contests over the National League. The opening mound matchup will be Yankees starter Gerrit Cole against former Cardinals prospect turned Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen. Former Cardinals pitcher Joe Kelly now an accomplished author Nolan Arenado will represent the St. Louis Cardinals and start at third base for the National League. Former Cardinals Randy Arozarena and Adolis Garcia will see action in the outfield for the American League. For full MLB All-Star Game rosters, click here. ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. - One woman has died, and two other people are hurt are a rural Missouri highway crash Monday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Regina Yeaher, 61, of Park Hills, Missouri, died in the crash. Two others riding in another car are being treated for "serious" injuries at a hospital. The crash happened just after the noon hour on Route B near Beck Drive. Accused killer’s case thrown out over one question at trial Investigators say Yeaher was driving southbound, while the other two in the crash were heading northbound. A crash report states Yeader was driving over her half of the roadway and tried to get back into her lane, but travelled off the right side. MSHP reports she then overcorrected, causing her car to steer left, skid and hit another car's bumper. Yeaher was rushed to the hospital after the crash, but died from her injuries. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department pursued an allegedly stolen vehicle through multiple cities Tuesday morning, eventually taking the driver into custody after about 45 minutes.The silver Kia Soul was taken from the Compton area, sheriff's officials said, and the pursuit began at about 6:50 a.m.The vehicle spent time on surface streets in Compton, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Montebello, Rosemead and Pico Rivera while being pursued by multiple law enforcement vehicles.Through residential areas and a parking lot, the Kia managed to evade deputies. At about 7:25 a.m., the driver pulled into a Walmart parking lot, parked in a handicap spot and tried to enter the store, which was apparently closed. Deputies tried to corner the Kia in the parking lot, but the car was able to escape.Five minutes after that, however, the driver entered a dead end in South El Monte, where he was trapped by LASD vehicles.
